I didn’t just start exercising. I went searching for confidence.
Back then, I didn’t want to be the shy teenager afraid to take his shirt off at the beach anymore. As I began to like my reflection in the mirror and revel in my newfound strength, my confidence soared.
Then it all came crashing down.
A back injury stopped me from doing what I loved most. The gym wasn’t just where I went to work out. It was where I felt alive. My friends were there. My community was there. Everything was there.Losing all of that terrified me. I wasn’t ready to slip back into being that teenager who craved self-esteem. The thought of not being able to move freely and work out was something I couldn’t accept. So I made myself a promise to find a way back. That promise led me to the science of exercise.
As I studied how movement impacts the body, I began to rebuild myself little by little. Each day I grew a bit stronger, a bit more confident, and inched closer to feeling alive again. My friends and family noticed the difference. I got my life back, and I felt an undeniable pull to help others do the same.
Since then, I’ve been dedicated to helping older adults overcome pain, move freely, and do the things they love with the people they love.
I studied Anatomy at Stony Brook University and became certified to start training in 2016. Over the past decade, I’ve learned from world-class mentors, traveled internationally for continuing education, and collaborated with medical professionals to expand my ability to help people move confidently and live without limitations.
To me, exercise is more than movement.
It’s the most powerful tool for freedom, confidence, and longevity.
